Western Pacific was founded in 1983
with the principal objective of creating a professional, honest recycling company to be a primary supplier to YFY Corporation in Taiwan, one of the largest mill groups in the world owned by the family of our founder. We developed a presence not only in the Los Angeles area, but quickly expanded to Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, Oakland, CA, Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV. We became one of the larger independently owned recycling companies and handled most all recyclables including pulp.
